Thanks to the fine folks in Bethany Beach, Delaware who came to our annual Bandstand gig last weekend! The view of the Atlantic Ocean does not disappoint. As always, we had a blast and we cannot wait to come again next year!Read More
Greetings Sarah Williams Music readers!!! I have recently been M.I.A. as we prepare for the newest member of our family - due in less than a month! However, I just HAVE to break my silence to give huge props to my girl, Amy Gerhartz!!
Her album FIRE, which came out a year ago, was nominated for the Best Pop Album through the Independent Music Awards. Amy has worked so hard to promote this record and really get it out there, and I feel honored to have several cuts on the record. You can listen to (and buy :) ..) the album here: https://www.amygerhartz.com/
And check out the other nominees here:

Everybody loves camp!!
I am reeling today from another amazing week at W.O. Smith Camp. We headed out of town last Sunday to the beautiful Hillmont Camp in Dixon County.
There are cabins. There's a cafeteria. It's camp!!
The staff sets up every inch of the campgrounds with various musical gear to make as many practice and rehearsal spaces as possible. This year I was in the Jazz Track and worked with some very talented young singers on how to improvise, sing vocalese to imitate instruments, and nail some old standards such as "Summertime."
There was plenty of time for pool games and dodgeball before we headed back to Nashville on Friday evening to perform some selected songs for the parents.
I feel so lucky to get to attend this camp each year! Here's a group of campers with our long time staff member, Melanie Blanche.
If you want to get involved, check out their website HERE.
